NPFL: Remo Stars Boss rewards star striker Mbaoma with a brand new car

Remo Stars owner Kunle Soname has gifted a brand new car to forward Victor Mbaoma. The reward recognizes his standout individual performances during the 2025-26 NPFL season.

Mbaoma was lethal in front of goal this year, finishing the intense campaign with 14 goals. His impressive tally placed him among the league’s top clinical finishers.

The presentation took place in Ikenne on Tuesday, where club officials officially handed over the keys to the grateful striker.

For Mbaoma, the gesture was deeply moving, prompting him to release a heartfelt statement to express his appreciation.

“I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible surprise gift of a brand new car,” Mbaoma wrote.

“When you first made the promise, I was humbled by your generosity, but having it become a reality is truly overwhelming despite the situation surrounding it.”

He added: “This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about your exceptional leadership and the value you place on your word. Thank you for keeping your word, believing in me, and investing in my well-being. I am incredibly honored to work under your guidance sir.”

Sharing the moment, he noted: “To my family, coaches, team mate, Remo stars officials and my friends, I couldn’t have reached this point without your constant encouragement, prayers, and words of advice. You all cheered me on during the tough days and celebrated my victories as if they were your own. Thank you for always having my back, and I celebrate this win with all of you with immense appreciation for your contribution and support.”

The reward brings welcome positivity during a tough time. Despite Mbaoma’s brilliant scoring run, Remo Stars suffered relegation to the lower-tier Nigeria National League (NNL) at the end of the season.
