Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgården has officially secured the signature of highly-rated Nigerian winger Angelo Agbejoye.

The promising forward has committed his long-term future to the Stockholm-based side, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract after arriving from Grassrunners FC.

Agbejoye’s journey to Scandinavia began on home soil, where Djurgården’s scouts spotted his raw talent during a local tournament in Nigeria.

The club wasted no time making their move, making the exciting winger their very first signing of the summer transfer window.

At just 18 years old, the young attacker is heading to Europe with plenty of ambition and a clear desire to make an immediate impact at his new home.

Expressing his excitement to get started, Agbejoye told the club’s official website: “I am very happy and grateful to be here.”

When asked what fans can expect from him on the pitch, he confidently added: “My main strengths are speed, attack, finesse, scoring and hitting crucial passes, creating chances and, in short; win.”
