The duo of Nigerian stars, Deborah Abiodun and Gift Monday have finally arrived at the Super Falcons’ Marriott Hotel camp in Casablanca ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON.
Their arrival means head coach Justine Madugu now has his full 25-player squad available for the tournament.
The duo had been expected in camp on Tuesday, but their trip from the United States was delayed after their scheduled flight was cancelled.
As a result, they missed the Super Falcons’ 2-1 international friendly victory over Tanzania’s Twiga Stars on Friday.
Abiodun was part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2024 WAFCON, while Gift Monday narrowly missed out on selection for that tournament.
The Super Falcons are scheduled to travel to Rabat on Friday, where they will play their group stage matches as they continue preparations for the continental showpiece.
