Yagba East council boss pays courtesy visit to Olu-Igbagun

 

The Executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Joshua Dare Monday, alongside the Member representing Yagba East in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Obaro, paid a courtesy visit to the revered traditional ruler of Igbagun, HRH, Oba Samuel Adebola, at his residence.

The visit, which took place in a warm and respectful atmosphere, underscored the commitment of both leaders to strengthening collaboration between the local government and traditional institutions for the advancement of the community.

Dr. Dare Joshua, while addressing the monarch, expressed his appreciation for the royal father’s continuous support towards peace, unity, and development in Igbagun and the entire Yagba East Local Government Area. He emphasized the critical role traditional rulers play in grassroots governance and community mobilization.

Also speaking during the visit, Hon. Emmanuel Obaro commended the Council Chairman for fostering a strong working relationship with traditional institutions. He noted that such engagements are vital in promoting unity, peace, and sustainable development at the grassroots level.

He further assured the people of his continued legislative support for initiatives that will bring more dividends of democracy to Yagba East.

In his response, HRH, Oba Samuel Adebola commended the Chairman and his entourage for the visit and their proactive leadership style. He assured them of the continued support and cooperation of the Igbagun traditional institution in fostering peace and development within the area.
