Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her ongoing health challenges, revealing that she celebrated her 25th birthday in a wheelchair after enduring severe pain and difficulties with mobility.
The actress made the disclosure in an Instagram post on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as she reflected on her health struggles while marking her birthday.
According to Daniels, her condition worsened after she attended a Children’s Day carnival, leaving her unable to walk on some days despite undergoing repeated medical tests.
“I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor but eventually led to this.
“It’s been one test after another that I started calling myself a lab rat. The pain became too excruciating; sometimes I am walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she said.
The actress’s revelation comes months after she became less active on social media, before a video allegedly showing a dispute between her and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, surfaced online amid allegations of domestic violence.
Daniels’ latest disclosure has brought renewed attention to her personal challenges, although the specific cause of her health condition remains unclear from her statement.
