Niger Tornadoes Technical Adviser, Kabiru Dogo, has urged the club’s supporters to temper their expectations ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
Dogo explained that the Minna-based club is currently undergoing a major rebuilding process following the departure of several key players at the end of last season.
The 2026 President Federation Cup-winning coach, however, expressed confidence that the technical crew would assemble a competitive squad capable of making the fans proud.
“We are starting a new era at Niger Tornadoes because most of the players from last season have moved to other clubs,” Dogo said in Minna on Wednesday.
“We have to build almost from scratch, and that is a huge responsibility for me and my technical crew.
Rebuilding is never easy, but we are determined to put together a formidable team that the fans will be proud of.
“I want to assure our supporters that we will get it right. All we ask for is their patience, understanding and support as we work towards achieving our goals.”
Dogo added that the club is working diligently to identify quality players who possess the character, discipline, and commitment needed to represent Niger Tornadoes in the upcoming campaign.
