The Nigeria National League, NNL has announced October 31, 2026, as the proposed kickoff date for the 2026/2027 league season.
The league body made this known in a circular dated September 2, 2026, outlining the proposed calendar of activities for the new campaign.
According to the calendar, stadium inspections are scheduled to take place from September 7 to 19, while the registration of clubs and players will run from September 14 to October 23.
Player licence collection is slated for October 24 to 30, ahead of the official opening fixture on October 31.
However, all other league fixtures are expected to commence on November 7, 2026.
The 2026/2027 NNL season is scheduled to culminate in the Super 4 Tournament, which will hold from April 14 to 18, 2027.
The proposed calendar is expected to guide participating clubs in their preparations for the new season.
