Wopa charges players on discipline as Kwara United Queens resume training

 

Kwara United Queens Football Club of Ilorin have resumed training after a two-week break as preparations begin for their forthcoming competition.

The players, who returned to camp on Sunday, immediately commenced training as the club stepped up preparations ahead of the new campaign.

A total of 28 players took part in the team’s first training session following the short break, engaging in a rigorous workout under the guidance of the technical crew.

Addressing the players, Chairman of the club, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Owolabi Agbaji Wopa, welcomed the players and charged them to uphold the discipline and standards associated with Kwara United Queens.

Wopa urged the players to remain committed, dedicated and persevering in their duties, stressing the importance of discipline as the team continues its preparations for the forthcoming NWFL competition.

He also encouraged the players to maintain a positive attitude and give their best during training as the club works towards achieving its objectives for the new season.

The team will continue training on Tuesday, tomorrow by 7:00am with few players expected to return to camp.
