Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut has urged fans to remain patient despite the team’s recent struggles.
The Solid Miners suffered a 1-0 home defeat to bottom club Kun Khalifat FC last weekend, denting their title hopes.
The loss means the team has now been beaten in their last two NPFL matches.
Mangut, however, said the players will step up in the remaining fixtures of the season.
“The time for reckoning is upon us; we will rise to the occasion and ensure that the remaining part of our campaign concludes on a note of dignity and competitiveness,” he told the club’s media.
“Let me assure our dedicated and loyal supporters and fans across the globe that we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to address the issues… your support remains our greatest strength, and we ask that you continue to stand by us as we navigate these challenging times.”
