Olugbagun emerges spokesperson for Kogi-Ondo-Ekiti Royal Fathers caucus 

 

The Olugbagun of Igbagun, the enlightened Royal Highness Oba Shola Adebola Samuel represented Igbagun Kingdom at the Security Summit of Royal Fathers from boundary towns and villages of Kogi, Ondo, and Ekiti States held at the Olujumu Palace, Iyara, on Monday.

The high-level meeting brought together traditional rulers from border communities across the three states to address rising security concerns, including kidnapping, farmer-herder clashes, and cross-border banditry affecting communities along the Kogi-Ondo-Ekiti corridor.

Discussions focused on intelligence sharing, community policing collaboration, and the role of traditional institutions in supporting security agencies to secure lives and property in boundary towns and villages.Olugbagun at Security Summit of Royal Fathers

During the summit, the Olugbagun of Igbagun was unanimously elected as Public Relations Officer of the forum comprising royal fathers from the three states.

His emergence places him at the forefront of coordinating information and advocacy for the royal fathers on security matters affecting the region.

The forum resolved to establish a joint communication channel among traditional rulers and to hold periodic meetings to review the security situation across the boundary communities.
