Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that she would end a serious relationship if she found someone else more attractive than her current partner.
The singer made this known while responding to a woman seeking relationship advice during her “Ask Ayra Starr” show.
According to Ayra Starr, if she were in a serious relationship and developed an attraction to another person, she would rather end her existing relationship than date the two individuals simultaneously.
She explained that being involved with two people at the same time could create complications, stressing the need for individuals to take time to understand their feelings before entering another relationship.
“If I’m in a serious relationship with a guy and then I find another guy more attractive, I would break up with him instead of dating both of them at the same time. I don’t think you can love two people. I think you need time to yourself so you can figure it out,” she said.
Meanwhile, the “Rush” crooner also advised her fans against abandoning their friends after entering romantic relationships.
Ayra Starr stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between friendships and romantic relationships, while warning against partners who attempt to isolate their significant others from their friends.
“You should never abandon your friends because you are in love. Your partner should not isolate you from your friends because you are in a relationship. There should be a balance between friendship and relationship in love,” she added.
