MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the 11th season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The announcement was made during a press briefing on Wednesday, where organisers also unveiled a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million for the winner — the largest prize since the reality show began in 2006.
Preparations for the new season started earlier this year, with physical auditions held from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu after applicants were shortlisted.
Participation in the auditions was free and open only to individuals 21 years and above with valid means of identification.
The new season follows the success of the previous edition, which concluded on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerging as the winner.
Imisi defeated 28 other contestants to claim a ₦150 million prize package, including ₦80 million in cash and an SUV.
