Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has been appointed as Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.
In a statement by Secretary to State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, said that Johnson-Okojie will leverage her influence, communication skills, and grassroots reach to promote government policies and programmes.
Johnson-Okojie is known for her humanitarian work, championing causes like women empowerment, child welfare, education, and healthcare through her foundation. Her appointment aims to strengthen citizen engagement and promote social responsibility.
