The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially modified the arrival schedule for candidates participating in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
According to an announcement released on Monday via the board’s official social media channels, first-session candidates are now required to report to their centers by 7:00 a.m.
This update pushes back the previous reporting time of 6:30 a.m. to give students a bit more breathing room before testing begins.
The board confirmed that the actual examination for this opening batch will now start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m.
Importantly, JAMB clarified that students do not need to reprint their examination slips despite these specific timing changes.
This adjustment is part of a broader daily timetable featuring four distinct sessions designed to improve logistics at CBT centers nationwide.
Candidates are encouraged to stay updated with official notices to ensure a smooth and successful examination experience this week.
