The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has unveiled its campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The names of members of the campaign council were released by the party on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
The council comprises prominent politicians, public figures, entertainment personalities and Nollywood actors.
Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat is the party’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 election.
Prince Dr. Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi was appointed Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council GAC, while the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will serve as Chairman of the Campaign Council.
Former Lagos State Governors, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola and Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, were appointed Co-Chairmen of the Advisory Council.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro will serve as Director-General of the Campaign Council, while Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi and Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa were appointed Deputy Chairmen.
Other members of the Advisory Council include Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and Dr. Moruf Tunji Alausa.
In the entertainment sector, veteran Nollywood actor Prince Jide Kosoko was appointed Co-Director, while Mr. Akanni Alao, popularly known as Afeez Owo, was named Deputy Director.
Other entertainment personalities listed as members include veteran actor Saheed Balogun, actress Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, Fuji musicians Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere, Suleiman Alao-Adekunle, popularly known as Malaika, and Akorede Babatunde Okunola, popularly known as Saheed Osupa.
The list also includes popular musician Temitope Adekunle, popularly known as Small Doctor, as well as actresses Bukky Wright, Foluke Daramola and Fathia Balogun.
Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello was named Head of the Tertiary Education Sub-committee.
The campaign council is expected to coordinate the party’s campaign activities and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
