Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has expressed firm confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a decisive victory in the next election cycle.
Sani emphasized that a major shift is occurring in Northern Nigeria, with Kaduna State leading the charge to bolster the President’s electoral standing.
Speaking on the *Mic On Podcast*, the former lawmaker stated, “President Tinubu will win by a very wide margin, especially for those of us in Kaduna.”
He further detailed the ongoing regional strategy, noting, “We are working towards making sure that he has the highest votes in the Northern part of Nigeria.”
Reflecting on the 2023 results, Sani acknowledged past struggles but insisted that the political climate has changed for the better.
“It was a failure in the last election because of the issues that existed at that time,” Sani explained, highlighting previous regional tensions.
He concluded by crediting the current administration’s local leadership, adding, “Now we have a governor who is able to unite the Northern and Southern parts of Kaduna.”
