Nigerian dancer and performer, Poco Lee, has reportedly been released in the United Kingdom after the woman who allegedly took him to court withdrew the case against him.

The claim was made by social media influencer Peller during a livestream while responding to questions about Poco Lee’s reported detention in the UK.

According to Peller, the complainant allegedly abandoned the case, which he claimed subsequently led to Poco Lee’s release.

“Yes o guys, Poco Lee is out. They talk say that girl that sue Poco Lee say the girl e run away from the case, say e leave the case. God go bless the girl, na God go bless am, is a good person,” Peller said.

He added: “The girl that make Poco Lee go to prison, the girl comot the case, UK lawyer con leave Poco Lee.”

Poco Lee was previously reported to be on remand in a UK prison over allegations of sexual offences, with a plea hearing reportedly scheduled for September.

However, Peller’s claim that the complainant withdrew the case and that the development resulted in Poco Lee’s release has not been independently confirmed by the UK court or prosecution authorities.

Until official confirmation is provided, the circumstances surrounding Poco Lee’s reported release remain unclear.
