The management of Osun Babes has stated that their Head Coach, Bankole Olowokere has left the club without the club’s approval.
Olowokere joined the Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL side at the start of the current campaign and has guided them to two wins, three draws and four defeats.
He was expected to lead the team out for their second round first match encounter against Dannaz Ladies.
However, the former Flamingoes’ coach was not seen with the team during the match which they lost by a lone goal in Osogbo.
It was rumored that the coach had resigned his appointment with the club before the match.
The management has said the coach’s absence is unprofessional and they are yet to receive any resignation from Olowookere to that effect.
“However, if the story is true, it implies that Bankole Olowookere absconded from the team after collecting allowance and other benefits for Osun Babes FC match against Dannaz Ladies Wednesday, 11th March, 2026.
