A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dino Melaye, has hinted that Nigerians are no longer interested in President Bola Tinubu’s second tenure.
Melaye said citizens can no longer tolerate another four years under what he described as Tinubu’s corrupt, reckless, and incompetent administration.
Expressing his views on X, Melaye wrote: “Tinubu’s second term is no longer about interest but existential. Nigerians cannot afford another four years of a miserable, corrupt, reckless, incompetent and prodical government.”
The former Kogi West Senator went further to accuse President Tinubu of playing dangerous politics with the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
He also alleged that the president is actively undermining the nation’s democracy as well as the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.
“Tinubu is playing politics with the lives of Nigerians, undermining democracy and Gov Seyi Makinde,” he said.
Tinubu remains the political figurehead for the All Progressives Congress after previously securing the party’s presidential ticket with roughly 11 million votes.
