Controversial Nigerian self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has denied allegations of drug addiction, insisting that she neither smokes nor drinks alcohol and does not attend parties.
Blessing made the clarification during a video call with Nollywood actress Doris Ogala following Ogala’s release from detention.
Ogala shared a video of their conversation on Instagram, where she told Blessing that allegations about her alleged drug use had circulated on social media during her detention.
According to Ogala, some social media users had claimed that Blessing needed rehabilitation and should not be given money.
Reacting to the allegations, Blessing dismissed the claims, stating that her lifestyle was different from what people had portrayed online.
“Yes, mama, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink and I don’t even party,” she said.
The relationship expert also criticised social media users for making assumptions about her personal life without knowing her in person.
“Most times the internet just have a way of enjoying themselves, a lot of people don’t even know me in person,” she added.
Her remarks come amid online discussions surrounding the allegations, as she maintained that many people form opinions about her without having personal knowledge of her lifestyle.
