Controversial singer and rapper, Speed Darlington, has expressed disappointment over his marital status, saying he is still unmarried and without children as he approaches the age of 60.
In a recent video shared online, the Akpi crooner said he desires more from life than his current achievements, stressing that he had hoped to have a family by this stage of his life.
“I am close to 60 with no wife or child.
Is this how I am going to live my life? All I have to show is American papers. I want more than American papers out of life.
“I want family, freedom and respect,” he said.
Speed Darlington has previously spoken publicly about his desire to get married.
A few years ago, he shared a list of qualities he was looking for in a prospective wife, stating that his ideal partner should be dark-skinned, between 18 and 23 years old, at least 5 feet 8 inches tall, weigh less than 150 pounds, and be fluent in both English and Igbo.
Years after making the public appeal, the entertainer is yet to announce a marriage or the birth of any children.
