Unity Cup: Zimbabwe squad arrives England ahead of Super Eagles clash

The Warriors of Zimbabwe have arrived in England ahead of their highly anticipated Unity Cup semi-final showdown against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Head coach Kaitano Tembo has opted for a heavily foreign-based roster, including only three local players in his final squad for the invitational tournament.

The small contingent of local players and the technical crew members will be joined in London by the rest of the foreign-based players to complete the squad.

Zimbabwe is scheduled to clash with the Super Eagles next week Tuesday at the Valley, the home ground of Sky Bet Championship club Charlton Athletic.

The other semi-final fixture will see India and Jamaica square off at the same London venue on Wednesday, May 27.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles enter the tournament with high expectations, as they are the defending champions of the competition.
