Popular Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has sparked a massive conversation online by claiming that IShowSpeed’s recent tour across Africa was actually a covert mission for tech billionaire Elon Musk.
In a viral video, Kuti disclosed that he only uncovered this information two days ago, suggesting that the streamer’s trip had much deeper motives than just content creation.
The singer narrated how he was initially contacted by the tour’s promoter and producer, only to later realize that the entire project was allegedly funded to test the reach of Musk’s satellites.
Kuti warned fans about the hidden nature of such high-profile visits, stating, “You can’t know the deals they’re making behind the scenes. You can’t know the people they’re talking to behind the scenes. You just think they’re coming to talk to you but they all have agender.”
He explained that although he agreed to meet with the team when they reached Nigeria, they suddenly went silent and avoided visiting the New Africa Shrine despite a previous friendship with the promoter.
Kuti expressed his frustration over the lack of communication, saying, “I called and sent messages but none of them responded. After the whole thing, he started sending me some kind of yeye message. Well e no even concern me too much because I don’t really mind, so I let it go.”
The musician eventually claimed that the true purpose of the influencer’s visits to remote locations was to map out Starlink’s connectivity across the continent.
“Only to find out the day before yesterday that Elon Musk was the one that sponsored the whole thing to know where his satellite don reach for Africa. That’s why they were visiting bushy areas. So, all that was a spy job for Elon Musk,” he alleged.
